Printed circuit boards (PCBs) are a critical component in HENSOLDT’s cutting-edge sensor solutions. By maintaining in-house production of PCBs, the company ensures a stable supply of essential components and greater control over core technologies, especially in light of high market demand and the importance of timely product delivery.
The rising demand for HENSOLDT’s radar systems, which are transitioning to series production, has particularly driven the need for increased production. The company views this expansion as a proactive step to meet these challenges. “In view of the increasing demand, the urgency of delivering products and solutions quickly and on a large scale is clearly noticeable,” said Gregor Schwab, HENSOLDT Head of Production.
Thanks to the expanded facilities, HENSOLDT has achieved a significant increase in PCB output. Schwab noted, “By expanding our production capacities, we have already more than doubled the number of printed circuit boards manufactured from 36,000 to 80,000 per year over the past two years.”
