Ukraine and Boeing Defence discuss collaboration on ammunition and UAV production

At the Munich Security Conference, Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Rustem Umerov, met with a delegation from Boeing Defense to discuss potential cooperation in defence production. The meeting was led by Boeing’s Executive Director, Steve Parker, and focused on enhancing Ukraine’s military capabilities.

At the Munich Security Conference, Ukraine’s Minister of Defence, Rustem Umerov, met with a delegation from Boeing Defense to discuss potential cooperation in defence production. The meeting was led by Boeing’s Executive Director, Steve Parker, and focused on enhancing Ukraine’s military capabilities.

 

The primary topics of discussion included the manufacturing of ammunition and aerial strike systems. Special attention was given to the possibility of jointly producing unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), which are crucial to modern warfare.



Minister Umerov expressed his appreciation for the constructive dialogue and highlighted Ukraine’s commitment to engaging with global defence industry leaders. He emphasised that expanding cooperation with Boeing Defense would contribute to strengthening national security and advancing technological partnerships.
