Swedish cybersecurity company Clavister has announced a SEK 53 million contract to supply its CyberArmour solutions to BAE Systems Hägglunds. The cybersecurity integration will support the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle platform, which will be deployed in both a Scandinavian country and an eastern European nation. Deliveries under the contract are set to commence in the second half of 2025 and will continue over a three-year period.

Swedish defence technology company MilDef has secured a new order worth SEK 40 million for ruggedised network equipment, following a previous SEK 30 million order in December. The hardware will be integrated into BAE Systems Hägglunds’ CV90 combat vehicles as part of an advanced cybersecurity solution.

The equipment will serve as a key sub-component of Clavister CyberArmour, an AI-powered, military-grade firewall system designed for mission-critical defence applications. Clavister, a European cybersecurity specialist, is responsible for integrating the system to enhance the protection of military networks.

MilDef has customised its hardware to meet Clavister’s requirements, ensuring seamless integration with the CV90 platform. The first serial deliveries of the equipment are scheduled for early 2027, supporting the growing need for enhanced cybersecurity in modern defence operations.

“The intersection of our ruggedized hardware and Clavister’s leading software creates the best possible conditions for the next level of cybersecurity. We are proud to contribute together to the modernization of European defense,” said Daniel Ljunggren, CEO and President of MilDef.

Clavister CEO John Vestberg underlined the importance of strong cybersecurity in today’s increasingly digital defence landscape. “Clavister and MilDef build on a long and strong relationship where cyber software meets robust hardware. In times of increased digitization of the armed forces, there is a clear need for significantly increased cyber security. For us, MilDef is the perfect partner in the work of equipping the defense capability of the future,” he stated.
