The demonstration, powered by Anduril’s Lattice Mesh, allows commanders to respond to threats in real-time through a resilient and survivable kill web. This advanced capability shortens decision-making times, enhancing situational awareness and battlefield effectiveness.
Anduril’s engineers, roboticists and software developers collaborated closely with the British Army to build a fully connected digital targeting network. This integration provides British forces with a crucial technological edge in modern warfare.
At the heart of this system is Lattice, Anduril’s command-and-control software that enables real-time evolution of the kill web. Its software-defined architecture supports seamless integration of new capabilities, ensuring relevance in a fast-changing operational environment.
Within a day of deployment to Blandford, Anduril integrated with other Asgard platforms and transferred data across Lattice. This approach allows legacy and isolated systems to function within one cohesive and survivable digital network.
Anduril’s solution eliminates the need for separate, disconnected systems by unifying them under a single operational framework. This enables personnel to deliver advanced battlefield capabilities efficiently and effectively.
During NATO’s Griffin Lightning deployment, Anduril’s Menace-T edge compute and communications solution was successfully tested. It transmitted data from the tactical edge to Divisional HQ instantly, enabling rapid asset tasking and faster kill-chain execution.
These capabilities, paired with Anduril’s data mesh, provided NATO commanders with real-time battlefield control and increased lethality. The system’s effectiveness in live scenarios confirms its strategic value in modern military operations.
Anduril supports the UK Government’s ambition for autonomous, attritable platforms to create a more agile “20-40-40” force structure. In partnership with British forces, Anduril delivers the autonomous software foundation necessary to win future conflicts.
Dr Rich Drake, Managing Director of Anduril UK and Europe, stated, “This is C2 at full speed, with real time connectivity, open systems, and software that creates seamless operational execution.” He added, “The data not only moves faster but enables decisions to occur within seconds, not hours, showcasing innovation meeting real-world mission need.”
