Landshield Plus combines an antenna and anti-jam processor in a single unit and provides real-time situational awareness in GPS-challenged environments. Its compact design and low power use make it suitable for land, sea and air platforms.
“There is a growing demand for resilient GPS across today’s complex battlefield,” said James Gray, managing director and chief executive of Raytheon UK. “The Landshield Plus anti-jam solution delivers exceptional performance in one integrated system, making it an ideal choice for modern combat vehicles such as the CV90.”
The system operates on both L1 and L2 GPS frequency bands and employs a seven-element antenna with integrated anti-jam technology. It can block signals from up to six jammers simultaneously across both bands, maintaining reliable navigation in contested environments.
Thousands of Raytheon UK’s anti-jamming systems are currently in service worldwide across multiple domains. These solutions support allied nations by defending critical GPS signals and ensuring mission success with advanced electronic protection systems.
With over 2,000 employees in the UK, Raytheon UK is a major supplier and systems integrator to the Ministry of Defence. The company develops defence and space products, provides training transformation services, and invests in research and development across the country.
