Ukrainian-American investment group MITS Capital has announced the launch of MITS Industries, a new Danish-Ukrainian defence technology company. Established in Denmark, the venture aims to become a platform investment for the Ukrainian defence technology market and reinforce European security.

“Denmark is an ideal partner for Ukraine. The two countries share a common heritage, a common enemy, and common values. The combination of Danish capital and technology with Ukraine’s large and innovative defense industrial base empowers European defense against Russian aggression”, said Perry Boyle, CEO & Founding Partner at MITS Capital and Chairman of MITS Industries.

Headquartered in Copenhagen and Kyiv, MITS Industries unites defence technology companies from unmanned ground vehicles, counter-drone systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned surface and underwater vehicles, and signals intelligence and electronic warfare systems. The company will employ more than 1,000 specialists from leading Ukrainian firms in these fields.

The initial group includes Tencore, a leading unmanned ground robot producer; Infozahyst, a Ukrainian signals intelligence manufacturer with over two decades of experience; Unwave, one of Ukraine’s largest electronic warfare systems makers; and an undisclosed drone manufacturer. MITS Capital will serve as coordinator, catalyst and investor in the new entity.

MITS Industries projects revenue exceeding $200 million in 2026. “This is just the beginning. MITS Industries will generate significant capacity scaling and revenue opportunities and will be a platform for additional mergers and tuck-in acquisitions. In just a few years, we intend for MITS Industries to join the ranks of European defense primes,“ said Denys Gurak, CIO & Founding Partner at MITS Capital.

The company will operate on a “drone-as-a-service” model, enabling scaled production of advanced drone and counter-drone solutions across air, land and maritime domains. This structure is also designed to expand export opportunities and attract institutional investment.

Ukraine’s government estimates domestic defence industry capacity will exceed $35 billion in 2025. Private production has already outpaced national demand, creating a surplus and accelerating readiness for export markets.

“MITS Capital is excited to be working with leading Ukrainian defense tech companies and our Danish partners to create something special, a platform for the first Danish-Ukrainian defense prime“, said Perry Boyle.

“Our ultimate goal remains unchanged: to help Ukraine win the current war and to help Europe defend itself against the next one”, Gurak resumed.

Founded in 2024, MITS Capital is based in Kyiv and New York and specialises in Ukrainian defence innovation. Its other initiatives include the MITS Accelerator in partnership with American University Kyiv, the MITS Lightning Fund, and an investment advisory unit, with Ernst & Young noting the fund is among the largest international investors in Ukraine’s defence technology sector.
