The collaboration will allow Raytheon to identify initiatives for scalable cloud based solutions using AWS artificial intelligence and machine learning services. Raytheon said it will use AWS to help customers lower mission costs, improve programme flexibility, and speed the delivery of operational capabilities.

He added: “This collaboration with AWS empowers our teams to accelerate responsible AI innovation, increase agility while maintaining the highest levels of security, optimize resources, and strengthen systems to drive effective results for our customers.”

Raytheon and AWS are now actively executing programmes for government and commercial customers under the agreement.
