The company said the decision to enter the Romanian market reflects its broader growth plans across Europe. Romania was identified as a key market due to its industrial potential and its role in supporting security on NATO’s eastern flank.
WB Group said favourable business conditions, access to a skilled workforce and cooperation with specialised partners were key factors in the expansion. The company added that local capabilities could support projects both regionally and across its global operations.
The group has developed a range of unmanned systems as well as communications, command and operational support solutions. It said system integration remains a core strength, enabling different technologies to operate together within a unified framework.
These solutions are designed to function within a broader ecosystem that supports data exchange, improved situational awareness and coordinated operations. The company said this approach allows integration both within its own systems and with those of partners.
WB Group said the establishment of WB Romania would strengthen cooperation across Central and Eastern Europe. The initiative is intended to support the development of regional partnerships based on shared operational requirements.
The company noted that Poland and Romania maintain close cooperation in security matters, including the presence of military units in each other’s countries. It said the new subsidiary represents an extension of this cooperation at an industrial level.
WB Group’s international footprint already includes entities such as WB Ukraine, WB America and WBE Technologies in Malaysia. The company said the launch of WB Romania extends its presence into the European Union while maintaining a consistent operational model.
