First announced at the Paris Air Show 2023, the collaboration between Aerodata and Milkor was formalized with a Memorandum of Understanding. The AeroForce 380, based on the proven Milkor 380 UAS platform, is set to redefine the standards of maritime surveillance technology. This Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) UAS is specifically designed for maritime surveillance and coast guard missions.
The AeroForce 380 stands out due to its remarkable adaptability. It operates efficiently in both Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) and Low Altitude Long Endurance (LALE) segments, boasting a service ceiling of 30,000 ft while effectively covering altitudes below 10,000 ft—crucial for typical maritime surveillance missions. Additionally, the UAS offers an impressive endurance of up to 35 hours, ensuring extended mission coverage and enhanced operational efficiency. With a Maximum Take-Off Weight of 1,300 kg and the capability to carry mission-specific payloads, the AeroForce 380 has the potential to revolutionize surveillance aircraft fleets worldwide.
Aerodata’s contribution to this state-of-the-art system includes advanced mission system technology, supported by maritime surveillance sensors from its subsidiary, Optimare Systems GmbH. This integrated approach ensures optimal performance and support, keeping the AeroForce® 380 at the forefront of maritime surveillance technology.
