The move is aimed at enhancing Anduril’s ability to deliver faster, more resilient, and seamlessly integrated solutions for defence operations in extreme environments. “Modern defense operations require compute and connectivity that go wherever the mission does—not just where the infrastructure allows,” the company stated.
Klas is renowned for its Voyager line, a modular suite of compute and networking systems designed to operate in extreme conditions such as high temperatures, jamming, and dust. Voyager products are already used in Anduril’s Menace systems, supporting missions across ground, maritime, and air domains.
“This acquisition builds on that foundation,” Anduril noted, highlighting the critical role of integrated computing and communications in enabling real-time decision-making and mission execution. “Every autonomous system is only as capable as the compute and comms it carries—together, they form the nervous system.”
By combining Anduril’s Lattice software, autonomy, and sensor capabilities with Klas’ infrastructure, the company plans to offer more deployable and maintainable mission-specific systems. “We can deliver lightweight, mission-tailored systems that are faster to deploy, easier to maintain, and more resilient under pressure,” said Anduril.
Following the acquisition, Klas will continue to operate from its existing facilities in Ireland and the United States. Anduril also confirmed plans to expand manufacturing capacity and establish its first office in Dublin, boosting its presence across Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, and Taiwan.
