The collaboration is set to fortify the digital landscape of Danish Armed Forces, from the headquarters to the front-line armored units, emphasizing the importance of secure and swift data exchange across classified domains.
“The ability to securely and rapidly share data, information, and intelligence across classified domains is essential for our success,” stated Lieutenant General Kim Jesper Jørgensen, Commander of DALO.
He highlighted the strategic nature of the collaboration with Arbit, which is poised to ensure seamless integration across the Danish Armed Forces’ systems and networks, whether on land, at sea, or in the air.
Arbit’s technology will be pivotal in the ambitious digital transformation facing the Danish Armed Forces, a transformation that is deemed crucial for operational efficacy. The partnership originated around 2015, focusing on the development of a CDS for the Danish Armed Forces. This collaboration has already led to the successful deployment of a RUGGED Information Exchange Gateway (IEG), tested under the extremes of both hot, humid conditions in the US and cold, snowy environments in Finland during NATO exercises.
Rasmus Borch, CEO of Arbit, expressed pride in the agreement, stating, “This confirms Arbit’s mission to develop world-class technology that safeguards Denmark.”
The long-term framework agreement marks a significant milestone in the continued modernization of Denmark’s defence capabilities, promising enhanced network security and operational readiness for the Danish Armed Forces.
