Developed in collaboration with Textron Systems Corporation, the simulator provides a high-fidelity tactical environment to replicate complex, real-world scenarios. This allows warfighters to train safely and cost-effectively without the risks and expense associated with live-flight operations.
“The Compass Call Mission Crew Simulator helps warfighters develop their expertise and maximize the effectiveness of the EA-37B, a critical mission system for dominating the electromagnetic spectrum,” said Stephanie Fehling, director of Electronic Attack Solutions at BAE Systems. “We’re driving warfighter readiness and helping EA-37B crews prepare for missions that require spectrum superiority.”
The CCMCS includes the same systems, controls, and displays as the EA-37B aircraft, enabling crews to train in mission planning, electronic warfare operations, communication, decision-making, and teamwork. Its 24/7 availability supports continuous training and mission rehearsal, helping to preserve aircraft availability and reduce strain on the EA-37B fleet.
The EA-37B’s mission is to disrupt enemy communications, radar, navigation, and air defence systems, limiting adversaries’ coordination and command capabilities. This electronic warfare role enhances the survivability and lethality of allied forces by acting as a critical force multiplier.
