The T4 robot enables operators to carry out complex tasks while maintaining a safe distance from potential hazards. It offers advanced control and precision for inspecting and neutralising explosive devices.
“The advanced technology and compact, rugged design of the T4 robotic system is an ideal fit for the Belgian MOD’s requirements and will save lives,” said Ed Zoiss, President, Space and Airborne Systems, L3Harris. “The proven, uncompromised performance and strength of L3Harris’ robotic systems help our customers execute even the most complex EOD missions with best-in-class mobility and control.”
The contract also includes in-country support, maintenance, and training for Belgian personnel. Additional enhancements will be provided to strengthen capabilities against improvised explosive devices.
L3Harris’ EOD robotic systems are already in service with several allied forces, including the U.K. Ministry of Defence, the U.S. Air Force, and the Australian Defence Force. The new agreement further extends the company’s international support for explosive threat mitigation.
