The 142nd Fighter Wing is set to receive a total of 18 F-15EX jets and currently operates two aircraft from the first lot, EX-07 and EX-08. Additional aircraft from the second lot are scheduled to arrive in the coming months as the unit continues its role in safeguarding the airspace of the northwestern continental United States.

So far in 2024, Boeing has delivered two F-15 aircraft—besides EX-09, the company also supplied another F-15QA variant to Qatar. Boeing currently holds contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense for 48 F-15EX aircraft, divided among the second (12), third (12), and fourth (24) production lots.
Negotiations are ongoing for further production batches of the F-15EX. In parallel, Boeing is executing a commercial contract for the F-15QA with Qatar and has signed an agreement to produce 25 F-15EX aircraft configured as F-15IA for Israel.
The current production rate of F-15 aircraft stands at approximately 18 units per year. However, this could increase to 24 annually if the U.S. Department of Defense secures additional budgetary funds.
