Brazilian army tests CV90 infantry fighting vehicle [VIDEO]

The CV90 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), manufactured by BAE Systems Hägglunds, is currently undergoing testing by the Brazilian armed forces. The company has shared a brief video on social media showcasing the progress of these tests.

Initial information regarding Brazil’s interest in acquiring the CV90 infantry fighting vehicles emerged in April; however, no specific details were provided at that time.

What is known is that BAE Systems Hägglunds is exploring potential collaboration with the Brazilian defense industry for the potential production and future maintenance of CV90 vehicles.

The Brazilian armed forces are assessing the CV90 MkIV version, configured similarly to the one recently chosen by the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
