The new office will be headed by a local executive, underlining CSD’s approach of fostering closer connections with regional partners and clients. The firm aims to tailor its operations to meet the specific requirements of European customers.
“Since its foundation, CSD has always focused on the international market, exporting products from Brazil. Europe is a region that aligns closely with our product portfolio,” explained the company’s CEO, Nelson Hübner Junior.
He said Poland had been chosen due to its promising outlook for defence investment in the coming years. “We held several discussions with potential Polish partners, and for that reason we are establishing our commercial office there,” he added.
With the new office, CSD expects to increase international sales and strengthen its portfolio among European clients. “By expanding our business in this market, we will gain a deeper understanding of local needs and adapt ourselves to this reality,” noted Hübner.
Poland will also serve as a base for creating opportunities with other European countries. CSD manufactures products including MK 80 series aviation bombs, mortar ammunition in several calibres, 155 mm artillery rounds, rockets, surveillance drones, and loitering or kamikaze drones.
The initiative is intended to broaden the company’s continental presence, consolidate strategic ties, and support the development of new products. CSD said it aims to reinforce its established position within the international defence sector.
