Clavister secures major contract to enhance cybersecurity for CV90 combat vehicle

Swedish cybersecurity company Clavister has announced a SEK 53 million contract to supply its CyberArmour solutions to BAE Systems Hägglunds. The cybersecurity integration will support the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle platform, which will be deployed in both a Scandinavian country and an eastern European nation. Deliveries under the contract are set to commence in the second half of 2025 and will continue over a three-year period.

Swedish cybersecurity company Clavister has announced a SEK 53 million contract to supply its CyberArmour solutions to BAE Systems Hägglunds. The cybersecurity integration will support the CV90 infantry fighting vehicle platform, which will be deployed in both a Scandinavian country and an eastern European nation. Deliveries under the contract are set to commence in the second half of 2025 and will continue over a three-year period.

 

BAE Systems Hägglunds, part of Europe’s largest defence contractor and the world’s third largest, designs the CV90 platform, widely regarded as one of Europe’s most successful infantry fighting vehicles. The latest CV90 version is highly digitalised, requiring advanced cyber protection to safeguard the vehicle and its crew against sophisticated cyber threats.

The contract will involve series deliveries of Clavister’s RSG-400 and RSW-400 product models. These products are already integrated into CV90 platforms under other agreements. By bolstering cyber defences, Clavister’s solutions aim to ensure uninterrupted operation of the CV90 on the battlefield while countering evolving cyber threats.
