Federal is a member of The Kinetic Group, which is owned by industrial-technology group CSG. The Nordic police agencies selected Federal’s 62-grain Tactical Bonded load for their duty ammunition requirements.
The agencies chose the company’s 5.56mm, 55-grain Disintegrator Jacketed Frangible cartridge for training. Federal said the two products met the technical and performance requirements set by the participating police agencies.

The company said the Nordic contract strengthens its global position and reflects the work of its American employees.
Federal described the Nordic police agencies as technically advanced and said they impose stringent performance requirements. The company said it was selected over a large number of global ammunition suppliers because of the technical superiority of its products.
“This contract validates the trust international law enforcement agencies have in our highly reliable and innovative products that meet and exceed the required specs,” Gillette said. “We provide top-quality law enforcement and tactical products officers need to have full confidence in any situation.”
