The expansion includes additional AS9100- and ISO9001-certified facilities and logistics sites via its contract manufacturing partner. Draganfly said this would strengthen its ability to meet demand for U.S.-made drones.
The announcement follows a directive by the U.S. Secretary of Defense to accelerate domestic drone production. The initiative aims to scale industrial capacity and cut lengthy acquisition cycles.
Objectives include greater investment in U.S. manufacturers and faster integration of drone systems in government and public safety agencies. Officials said the approach is designed to reduce reliance on foreign supply chains.
Draganfly said its expanded U.S. capacity supports this national objective by diversifying logistics and supply options. The company pointed to demand for systems such as its Draganfly Flex FPV.
