Under the agreements, EDGE entity ANAVIA will produce and deliver 76 HT-100 and 92 HT-750 unmanned helicopters for the UAE Ministry of Defence. ANAVIA specialises in the design and manufacture of advanced uncrewed aerial systems and will execute the programme from its Switzerland-based operations.
Jon Andri Jörg, CEO of ANAVIA, said: “Our contracts with the UAE’s MoD highlights our ongoing dedication to enabling advanced unmanned intelligence and logistics operations through the latest technology in autonomous systems.” He added: “The global security landscape is evolving towards an increasingly unmanned future, and while simultaneously contributing to the UAE’s advanced technology ecosystem, ANAVIA will continue to innovate in developing high-performance systems that deliver industry-leading capabilities.”
The HT-100 is a mission-proven, all-terrain unmanned helicopter designed for day and night intelligence and data-gathering missions in adverse weather, while the larger HT-750 is a multi-role platform optimised for logistics and heavy payload transport. The contracts were announced at the Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference and the Simulation and Training Exhibition 2026, underlining EDGE’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the UAE’s national security through large-scale delivery of advanced UAS technologies.
