This significant growth demonstrates EDGE’s rapid expansion and innovation across multiple domains, including air, land, sea, cyber, and space. The company plans to announce key strategic partnerships and joint ventures with global industry leaders, reinforcing its position as a key player in the global defence sector. These advancements are the result of recent acquisitions, collaborations, and strategic investments, highlighting EDGE’s commitment to integrated and sovereign industrial capabilities.
Hamad Al Marar, Managing Director and CEO of EDGE, described the company’s progress as “transformative” during its five years of operation. He emphasised the doubling of its product portfolio since 2023 and the expansion from 20 entities to more than 35 by 2025. Al Marar attributed this growth to strategic partnerships and investments, as well as EDGE’s focus on building a robust, sovereign defence industry for the UAE.
Among the key highlights of EDGE’s showcase are cutting-edge autonomous systems, including the HT-100 unmanned helicopter and the UAE’s first domestically produced unmanned aerial system, GARMOOSHA. The company will also feature advanced munitions like the AL TARIQ precision-guided series and the SKYKNIGHT air defence missile system. In the land domain, EDGE will present solutions such as the mission-proven THeMIS unmanned ground vehicle and the AJBAN MK II multi-role light patrol vehicle.
The naval segment will feature the debut of the FALAJ 3 patrol vessel and the RABDAN offshore patrol vessel, both designed and manufactured in the UAE. EDGE’s new Technology & Innovation cluster will also be unveiled, showcasing cutting-edge developments in radar systems, electro-optics, and artificial intelligence. These initiatives underscore EDGE’s leadership in innovation and its role in positioning the UAE as a global technology hub.
Visitors can explore EDGE’s comprehensive portfolio at IDEX 2025 from 17 to 21 February. Displays will be located at indoor stand 05-C20 in Hall 5, outdoor stand CP-270, and ADSB at NAVDEX 2025, stand B-022.
