Elbit Systems UK has completed the full acquisition of UAV Tactical Systems Ltd. (UTACS) after receiving all required regulatory and government approvals. The acquisition marks a further expansion of Elbit Systems’ presence in Europe and builds on UTACS’ nearly 20-year history of supplying advanced tactical uncrewed aerial systems to the British Army and international customers.

During this period, UTACS has delivered dozens of uncrewed aerial systems to customers including the United Nations and NATO member countries, supporting a wide range of defence and security missions. These programmes have established UTACS as a significant UK-based supplier of tactical uncrewed capabilities for both national and international users.

Under full ownership, Elbit Systems UK plans to further develop UTACS as a leading British and regional hub for the design, development and support of advanced uncrewed aerial systems, drawing on Elbit Systems’ global expertise and technological leadership in the uncrewed domain.

The company will continue to deliver existing programmes while retaining UTACS’ highly skilled British workforce, strengthening engineering excellence, supporting European and NATO customers, and reinforcing the UK’s defence industrial base.
