FACT Systems secures contract to supply Duel-Simulator to German Special Operations Forces

FACT Systems GmbH has announced its success in winning the tender to supply the German Kommando Spezialkräfte (KSK) with its Duel-Simulator Special Forces (DSim SpezKr). This contract represents a significant achievement for the company, marking an important milestone in its development and showcasing its advanced training technology.

 

The Duel-Simulator, developed by FACT Systems, is designed to enhance training for military, police, and special forces. It provides a versatile training solution that combines flexibility, precision, and ease of use. The system supports live training and After Action Review (AAR) evaluations, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It also accommodates a range of simulation firearms, including rifles, .50cal ammo boxes and up to 30mm cannons, and supports scenarios like Close Quarters Battle (CQB), as well as dynamic and stationary shooting exercises.

One of the standout features of the FACT Training System is its capability to integrate elements such as K9 units, precision shooters, and various target types. With a shooting range of up to 1,000 meters and the ability to simulate shots through glass and macrolon targets, the system offers comprehensive training without requiring additional protective gear for participants.

Central to this system is FACT Systems’ innovative THOR Single Sensor, a versatile device designed to replace traditional sensor vests. The Single Sensor can be adapted into multiple configurations, including helmet units and drone sensor kits, meeting diverse training needs. This design aims to simplify training operations while ensuring users are not hindered by bulky equipment.

FACT Systems highlighted the importance of user feedback from special forces in the development of the THOR Single Sensor, noting the need for minimal disruption when integrating tactical gear. The company’s focus on reducing size, weight, and complexity while employing modern swarm technology has been pivotal in creating this adaptable training solution.
