The formation featured a B-2 Spirit, B-1B Lancer, and B-52H Stratofortress flying alongside fighter aircraft including the F-22 Raptor, F-15C Eagle, F-16C Fighting Falcon, and A-10 Thunderbolt II. While previous air shows included tri-bomber flyovers, this was the first time fighters were incorporated, creating a dissimilar formation.
“This formation is a demonstration of our ability to project power, communicate our resolve, and provide our nation with options in times of crisis,” said Gen. Thomas A. Bussiere, commander of Air Force Global Strike Command. He added, “Global Strike Command remains ready to support the warfighter at any time, in any place.”
The event also highlighted the collaborative strength of the total force, involving active duty, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard pilots. This joint participation reflects the Air Force’s integrated approach to operations across all components.
