The Batlskin Hellbender TE, based on Galvion’s proven PDxT military helmet platform, offers hybridised construction with a ballistic core made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). The helmet is available in both hi-cut and mid/full cut designs, balancing coverage with communications integration. Configurable with modular accessories and compatible with Galvion’s APEX liner system, the Hellbender TE is tailored for military and law enforcement applications and will be commercially available by mid-2025.
Complementing this launch is the Batlskin Caiman SAR helmet, a lightweight solution designed for Search and Rescue operations. Made from high-impact polymer, the Caiman SAR includes Galvion’s newly developed 3-hole shroud and APEX liner system, ensuring maximum comfort and stability. Available in vented and ventless options and various colours—including red, yellow, and orange—the helmet will be ready for order by late 2025.
Todd Stirtzinger, Galvion’s CEO, highlighted the user-driven approach behind the new designs. “Feedback from over 100,000 deployed PDxT systems has allowed us to refine and expand our offerings to meet evolving operator needs. The Hellbender TE and Caiman SAR represent the next step in providing versatile, high-performance head systems for diverse missions.”
