American defence manufacturer General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is set to showcase its latest advancements in uncrewed airpower at the Paris Air Show, opening 16 June. The company will present a wide array of products at its stand in Hall 3, B-176, with the centrepiece being the international debut of its Collaborative Combat Aircraft (CCA), designated YFQ-42A by the U.S. Air Force.

“We’re excited to show off the design of our new YFQ-42A CCA at the largest aviation event of the year,” said GA-ASI President David R. Alexander. “We know the world is paying attention to our CCA development. Ground tests are underway, and we look forward to first flight in the coming weeks, as we once again rewrite the rules of airpower.”

Alongside the YFQ-42A, GA-ASI will also display its expanding portfolio of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), including the MQ-9B SkyGuardian and SeaGuardian. The company is highlighting new configurations for the MQ-9B platform, including short takeoff and landing (STOL) capability and a developing Airborne Early Warning (AEW) version.

Visitors to the stand will also see a demonstration of the latest release of TacSit-C2, GA-ASI’s tactical situational awareness software. TacSit-C2 enables operators to plan and manage missions effectively as part of the company’s Quadratix software enterprise.
