The campus combines manufacturing infrastructure, automation equipment and a workforce intended to support production at scale. GDOTS said it has already produced and static-fired solid rocket motors, using the firings to validate motor performance and manufacturing processes before the site reaches full operational readiness.
“GDOTS has purpose‑built this campus to deliver the flexible and scalable solid rocket motor manufacturing capacity our customers need as demand grows and requirements accelerate,” said Chris Haynes, the company’s senior vice president and general manager. The investment is part of GDOTS’ effort to increase U.S. propulsion manufacturing capacity without tying the new site to a single program.
“With our facility nearing full operational readiness, we are preparing to produce and deliver a wide range of reliable, high‑quality SRMs at scale,” Haynes said. The company said it is carrying out work for several customers while continuing production-relevant motor testing.
