Germany delivers Songbird reconnaissance drones to Ukraine

The German government has transferred the first batch of Songbird unmanned aerial vehicles to Ukraine. These drones, designed for reconnaissance and intelligence purposes, were developed by the German technology company Germandrones.

 

According to the statement from the German government, Ukraine has already received a batch of seven Songbird drones. The Germandrones company developed three versions of the Songbird drone: Songbird 60, Songbird 100, and Songbird 150. The German government has not specified which version of the Songbird drones was delivered to Ukraine.

However, the Songbird 150 offers the best operational capabilities among the versions. According to the Germandrones company, it can carry a maximum payload of 4.4 kg. The range of these drones is up to 110 km. The Songbird 150 can reach an altitude of 5,000 meters.
