HawkEye 360 Inc. has confirmed that its latest satellite group, Cluster 12, has reached Full Operational Capability following its launch on 26 June aboard a Rocket Lab Electron rocket. The three formation-flying satellites are now calibrated, commissioned and integrated into the company’s constellation to provide mission-ready signals intelligence across key global regions.

The mission also carried Kestrel-0A, an experimental satellite designed to test emerging capabilities that will inform HawkEye 360’s next generation of technologies. The company stated that Kestrel-0A is progressing successfully, with ongoing contact and early-stage mission milestones already achieved.

“Achieving FOC for Cluster 12 strengthens our ability to deliver timely, mission-critical signals intelligence to defense, intelligence, and commercial partners,” said Todd Probert, President, U.S. Government. “This cluster enhances our ability to monitor complex operating environments, detect signals of interest, and drive informed decisions across land and sea.”

According to HawkEye 360, Cluster 12 expands frequency detection, improves revisit rates, and increases global reach to meet rising demand for signals intelligence. The constellation supports applications including maritime domain awareness, air defence system detection and GNSS interference monitoring.

“This milestone reflects the outstanding performance of our engineering, operations, and mission management teams,” said Eric Haengel, Vice President of Space & Ground Systems. “Cluster 12 is now fully integrated into our constellation and contributing to the seamless delivery of high-impact RF data for our customers worldwide.”

With Cluster 12 operational, HawkEye 360 continues to scale its satellite capabilities to support government and allied partners with trusted RF geolocation data. The company underlined its role in equipping defence, intelligence and national security leaders with signals intelligence that strengthens decision making and strategic awareness.
