Hyundai Rotem delivers another batch of K2 Black Panther tanks to Poland

The Polish Ministry of National Defence announced on June 16 that another batch of Hyundai Rotem's K2 Black Panther tanks has been delivered to Poland.

This recent delivery includes six newly manufactured K2 Black Panther tanks from the renowned South Korean defence company, Hyundai Rotem. Adding to the existing fleet, Poland has now received a total of 28 K2 Black Panther tanks produced by South Korean defence industry.

The Polish Ministry of National Defence has further revealed that Hyundai Rotem is scheduled to supply a total of 56 tanks in 2024 and 96 tanks in 2025. These forthcoming deliveries signify the continued commitment of Hyundai Rotem to meet Poland’s defence requirements.




In August 2022, Poland entered into a contract with Hyundai Rotem for the production and delivery of 180 K2 Black Panther main battle tanks. The total value of this substantial agreement amounts to USD 3.7 billion.
