The 152mm Dana M2 self-propelled howitzer is the modernized version of Dana. According to Excalibur Army, Dana M2 features high speed in taking up and leaving the firing position, greater accuracy, and excellent hard terrain crossability. The Dana M2 howitzer is equipped with a powerful Onboard Control System which contains subsystems of diagnostics, navigation, automatic gun aiming, autonomous calculation of shooting elements, and ammunition selection subsystem.

“Thanks to the new more resistant cabin and the NBC filtration system the Dana M2 provides the crew with the highest level of comfort and protection. The newly implemented automatic guiding system allows fast and fully-automatic weapon adjustment into a fire position,” Excalibur Army said.

The Dita self-propelled howitzer is a new modern artillery weapon using NATO standard 155mm ammunition.

It derives from the original Czechoslovak concept of Tatra truck-mounted howitzers, but it takes the autonomy of operation into a new level – Dita offers an unprecedented rate of fire with only 2 members of the crew. It features a modern fire control system, high speed in taking up and leaving the firing position, great accuracy, and excellent hard terrain crossability.

The Morana self-propelled howitzer is also using 155mm ammunition. According to Excalibur Army, it is designed for fast and effective support of operational-tactical and tactical groupings of ground forces. The unique Fire Control System and diagnostic system enables autonomous fulfillment of combat tasks.

“The unique construction of the self-propelled gun howitzer Morana represents a combination of a car chassis and an independent tower artillery system with a crew protected by armor. It combines the advantages of lighter self-propelled artillery systems of the TMG (Truck Mounted Gun) category and heavy artillery systems with battle towers,” Excalibur Army said.

The Morana 155mm self-propelled howitzer, therefore, offers low weight and associated easy transport, high mobility on paved roads and in difficult terrain, while eliminating the need for road carrier logistics, as is the case of tracked artillery systems, a high level of crew protection, fully automatic loading system, weapon guidance and aiming and large capacity of ammunition.

At IDEX 2023, the Czech company Excalibur Army will also showcase its other products, for example, the medium-class armoured combat vehicle Patriot II, and Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) RM-70 Vampire 4D.
