infiniDome has been named the 1st place winner in the Technology category of the XCELLENCE Awards by the Association for Uncrewed Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI). infiniDome was selected from a pool of accomplished applicants for their exceptional work in uncrewed systems technology. The winners were publicly congratulated during the XCELLENCE awards ceremony during AUVSI XPONENTIAL on Tuesday, May 9. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the event, co-hosted by Messe Düsseldorf North America.

infiniDome specializes in developing GPS protection and resilient navigation solutions tailored to defend UAVs and vehicles from jamming attacks. infiniDome’s GPSdome2 protects GNSS systems from jamming, which is becoming a growing concern for unmanned and manned critical applications. GPSdome2 can be used with a variety of platforms including manned ground vehicles, and unmanned vehicles such as UAV, UGV, and USV, and can be integrated or retrofitted on almost any GNSS-dependent platform. The main disruption GPSdome2 brings to the market is its incredible C-SWaP offering (optimized for Cost, Size Weight and Power) by implementing proprietary null steering algorithms using infiniDome’s own chip technology. At less than 10x10x5.5cm and weighing less than 500g, GPSdome2 protects two GNSS frequencies (L1+L2 or L1+G1) from up to 3 directions of attack simultaneously, ensuring accurate and continuous positioning and navigation data, even in heavily challenged GNSS environments.

“This year, XPONENTIAL is all about designing a shared plan for the future of autonomy,” said Keely Griffith, Vice President of Strategic Programs at AUVSI. “There’s no better place to announce the 2023 XCELLENCE award finalists. Together, they are redefining what’s possible with uncrewed and robotic technology.”

The AUVSI XCELLENCE Awards honor innovators with a demonstrated commitment to advancing autonomy, leading, and promoting safe adoption of uncrewed systems and developing programs that use these technologies to save lives and improve the human condition.

“We were greatly honored to win the 1st place at the AUVSI XCELLENCE IN TECHNOLOGY awards at the AUVSI XPONENTIAL show in Denver this week. Even though last year, at the previous AUVSI XPONENTIAL show we had already seen a lot of interest from the end users (the MODs and defense forces) in adding resilience to GNSS and navigation systems for UAVs, this year we saw tremendous traction not only from the end users but from almost every UAV manufacturer or major integrator in the industry. In the past year we see a sharp increase in not only defense platforms being crippled by GPS jamming but also commercial platforms and not only constrained to war zones but also in peaceful borders or even at the heart of major cities around the world,” – stated Omer Sharar, infiniDome CEO. “We see this award as a great testament to our truly disruptive product (GPSdome2) which provides high-end anti-jamming dual-band protection from up to three directions of attack in a small and light package, but moreover, to the pain this product will help mitigate by allowing our customers to perform their critical missions in contested environments.”
