Israel Ministry of Defence (IMOD) Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, visited the production lines of Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), accompanied by IAI CEO Boaz Levy. The lines have been operating continuously since the outbreak of war.

During the visit, Baram conducted a field situation assessment and reviewed the production pace of key offensive and defensive combat systems for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The visit highlighted IAI’s role in supporting operational readiness.

Baram addressed the employees during the visit. “IAI plays a crucial role across all aspects of this war – our systems are operating in Iran, targeting Tehran, while simultaneously protecting Israeli citizens at home,” he said.

“When Iran’s leadership faces off against the IDF, they’re not just confronting our military, but our entire defense industry ecosystem, including all of you engineers and workers,” he stated. “I’m here today to thank you for your years of tireless dedication.”

“We’re in an endless technological arms race with our enemies, and while our battlefield achievements have been remarkable, we can’t afford to rest,” Baram added. “To maintain our technological edge, we must continue scaling up production and accelerating development of the next generation of defense systems.”
