The defence technology firm, listed on NASDAQ as KTOS, is a key supplier in national security sectors, including hypersonic systems, propulsion, and high-performance unmanned aircraft. This latest contract reinforces Kratos’ role in delivering essential military-grade hardware at scale for the U.S. defence infrastructure.
Due to the sensitive nature of the programme, Kratos stated that no further details about the contract will be disclosed. The company cited competitive and security-related reasons for withholding additional information.
Eric DeMarco, President and CEO of Kratos, said: “Kratos is a recognized industry leader in designing, engineering and manufacturing military grade hardware for weapon systems—systems that have to work every time for our warfighters, partners and customers.” He added, “Our entire Company is proud to have been selected to produce and provide this critical air defense system hardware for this United States National Security customer.”
Kratos’ C5ISR business unit is currently involved in large-scale production efforts supporting a range of missile, radar, and air defence programmes. According to DeMarco, the new contract forms part of this ongoing strategic commitment to national defence priorities.
