On January 20, 2026, Lockheed Martin awarded Tecnobit, the Grupo Oesía brand specializing in electronic solutions, a purchase order to begin developing a production line for highly specialized PAC-3 MSE cables and harnesses. Lockheed Martin and Grupo Oesía executives joined officials from the Spanish Ministry of Defense for a formal signing ceremony, with the project expanding Tecnobit’s capabilities to meet stringent production requirements.
Earlier in the week, Lockheed Martin took part in Sener’s groundbreaking ceremony for its new Patriot Center of Excellence, where actuators for the PAC-3 MSE will be produced following U.S. Government production line validation. Sener received a purchase order in December 2024 to begin designing and implementing the PAC-3 MSE actuator production line at its new facility.
“The progress Sener and Grupo Oesía have made towards realizing their production objectives is a win for both the U.S. and Spain homeland defense,” said Brian Kubik, vice president of PAC-3 Programs at Lockheed Martin. He added: “Spanish Industry’s participation in the PAC-3 MSE supply chain provides enhanced resiliency to the PAC-3 supply chain as we increase production and deliver critical industrial proficiencies to Spain.”
Rafael Orbe, Defence General Director at Sener, said: “With this significant groundbreaking milestone for the new Building 10, or colloquially the Patriot Building, at our Tres Cantos facilities in Madrid, Sener confirms its commitment to its customers and to the Ministry of Defense to meet the challenges arising from the current defense market situation.” He added: “In the new building, which will be operational in 2027, Sener will produce the PAC-3 MSE missile actuators for the Patriot system for the global market.”
Héctor Roldán, CEO of Grupo Oesía, said: “This project represents a step forward in Grupo Oesía’s contribution to the development of high technological and industrial capabilities in Spain.” He added: “Through this program, we will consolidate our contribution to the international PAC-3 MSE supply chain and expand our knowledge in the field of defense systems.”
The industrial advancements will lead into a four-year implementation phase culminating in the delivery of fully certified components to Lockheed Martin’s PAC-3 MSE production line in Camden, Arkansas. Lockheed Martin said it will continue working closely with both companies, building on more than 40 years of partnership with Spain’s defense industry and its contribution of over €1 billion to the Spanish economy.
