According to the manufacturer, the Viper combines the range of the Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) with the warhead of the AGM-114 Hellfire II anti-tank missile. Mach Industries states that the system offers this capability at an accessible price point.
The Viper is capable of striking a variety of targets including artillery positions, vehicles, tanks, radar systems, and command and supply centres at distances of up to 290 kilometres. It carries a 10-kilogram warhead and flies at subsonic speeds.
The system launches vertically, allowing it to be deployed from unprepared terrain. This vertical launch capability enables rapid repositioning and supports immediate assault operations.
The Viper also incorporates navigation supported by artificial intelligence. It is designed to operate effectively even in environments where GPS signals are unavailable.
Mach Industries reports that each Viper unit is priced at approximately $100,000. The company presents it as a cost-effective solution for modern combat scenarios requiring flexible and precise long-range engagement.
