A key feature of the design is its ability to match the protective performance and weight of the current system, while offering enhanced modularity. The vest is part of Mehler’s M.U.S.T. product family, which is known for its adaptability and reliability.
Production of the systems will be carried out at the company’s Fulda facility in Germany. “Through our innovative capabilities, industrial expertise, and reliable supply chain, we are committed to being a trusted partner to the German Armed Forces and meeting their requirements on time,” added Dr Amschlinger.
