Missile Defense Agency: Golden Dome for America Industry Summit set for June 11 in Huntsville

The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) has announced the Golden Dome for America Industry Summit, formerly known as the "Next-Generation Missile Defense Summit." The event will take place on June 11, 2025, at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama.

 

The summit will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 4:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT). It will be held as a general session at the UNCLASSIFIED level, open to non-traditional and industry partners interested in missile defense innovation.

The primary aim of the event is to equip participants with insights into the Golden Dome for America initiative. It seeks to empower attendees to take actionable steps that align with government requirements. No One-on-One sessions or panel discussions are planned as part of the summit.

 

 

In a statement, the MDA emphasized the importance of non-traditional contractors in the evolving field of missile defense. “We are extremely interested in ‘outside the box’ thinking and believe that non-traditional contractors are vital to shaping the future of missile defense,” the agency stated.

The MDA encourages non-traditional contractors to participate, highlighting the value of innovative approaches to advancing missile defense strategies. The event is expected to attract a diverse range of attendees committed to contributing to the development of next-generation defense solutions.
