The systems provide hook-fitted military aircraft equipped with proven and innovative technology for safely capturing and arresting aircraft.
At the completion of the operation, the systems will be reinstalled and will have almost 50% of their components replaced repainted and re-protected, in addition to a software upgrade. These improvements will ensure the safety, reliability, and readiness of NATO military aircraft operations stationed at the base.
In addition to the overhaul of the two Aircraft Arresting Systems, the Contractor’s field service specialists will provide training to the Airbase maintenance team aimed at assuring the required skills and ability to maintain the systems.
