“BOS contracts are indispensable to the success of military operations,” said Juan Jimenez-Arocho, NAVFAC EURAFCENT director of Public Works. “These contracts provide the essential services needed to keep operations running smoothly, including utility management, facility repairs, and transportation support.”

Base Operations Support provides resources needed to operate military bases and installations, sustain mission capability, ensure quality of life, and support personnel and infrastructure. Services under the contract include management and administration, emergency services, facility management, utilities, transportation, environmental services, and other functions required to support daily base operations.

The base contract was originally awarded on Sept. 26, 2024, to Vectrus Systems LLC following full and open competition using best-value source selection procedures. NAVFAC serves as the Navy’s shore facilities and engineering systems command, while NAVFAC EURAFCENT delivers construction, engineering, and contracting support across Europe, Africa, and Central command.
