Oracle has announced the second cohort of its Oracle Defense Ecosystem, a global initiative aimed at accelerating innovation and strengthening defence capabilities across the United States and allied nations. Launched in June 2025, the programme brings together startups, scale-ups, and established firms to drive advancements in AI, cybersecurity, and national security.

The Oracle Defense Ecosystem supports government organisations in adopting emerging technologies more efficiently and securely. Through partnerships and access to Oracle’s cloud and AI solutions, participants can develop and deploy disruptive technologies to meet evolving security demands.

“Emerging threats demand fast, secure, and collaborative innovation,” said Rand Waldron, vice president, Oracle. “Through the Oracle Defense Ecosystem, we are committed to enabling the next generation of defense innovators to solve vital national security challenges with speed and scale. The incredible response to our inaugural cohort demonstrated the urgent need for such partnerships. We are thrilled to welcome a new group of visionary companies to this growing community.”

The new cohort includes Airis Labs, American Binary, Defense Unicorns, Druid Software, Duality Technologies, Galvanick, Heven AeroTech, Reka, Scaleout, and Strider Technologies. These firms focus on areas such as secure communications, AI-enabled situational awareness, autonomous systems, cyber resilience, and advanced analytics.

New members receive exclusive access to Oracle’s resources, preferred pricing, and expert guidance to accelerate solution development and market integration in the defence sector. This tailored support aims to deliver real-world results for the U.S. Department of War, allied government agencies, and key industry players.

Companies from the first cohort—such as Arqit, Blackshark.ai, and Mattermost—have already begun delivering cloud- and AI-powered defence solutions, validating the ecosystem’s rapid innovation model. Their early success highlights the programme’s potential to turn prototypes into operational tools for defence readiness.
