Initial members of the Oracle Defense Ecosystem include companies such as Arqit, Blackshark.ai, Entanglement, Fenix Group (now part of Nokia Federal Solutions), Koniku, Kraken, Mattermost, Metron, SensusQ, and Whitespace. These organisations will benefit from streamlined access to Oracle’s global infrastructure and expertise in secure cloud computing.
“Nothing is more important than the national security of the U.S. and its allies, and Oracle has been a cornerstone of this mission for nearly 50 years,” said Rand Waldron, vice president at Oracle. “Oracle and our defense ecosystem plans to innovate and scale to help the U.S. and its allies deter conflicts and win on physical and digital battlefields.”
Oracle’s new initiative aims to address barriers often faced by national security teams in adopting the latest technology, including complex procurement processes and restricted access to emerging vendors. The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), which already meets rigorous defence compliance requirements, will serve as the technological foundation of the ecosystem.
Members of the Oracle Defense Ecosystem will gain access to a broad range of resources and support services to help accelerate innovation and growth. These include collaboration with Oracle’s global sales team, guidance on defence acquisition, and preferred access to Oracle NetSuite and secure office facilities.
The ecosystem also offers tools to simplify compliance with key defence frameworks such as the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and Secure Cloud Computing Architecture (SCCA). Members can use Oracle’s pre-configured cloud environments to meet stringent security standards while reducing the time and cost of implementation.
Additionally, ecosystem participants will benefit from integration with Palantir’s Foundry and Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP) on OCI, enabling them to enhance internal operations, product development, and AI integration. Solutions developed within the ecosystem can be distributed globally through the Oracle Cloud Marketplace with built-in support for continuous updates.
Through this collaborative initiative, Oracle aims to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge defence technologies and provide a scalable platform for innovators to contribute directly to national and allied security.
