Under the Cost-Plus Fixed Fee contract, the company will provide System Technical Support services for the Hydro-Mechanical Powered Transmission. The work will support several U.S. Army platforms, including the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle, Multiple Launch Rocket System and the Paladin Self Propelled Howitzer System.
RENK America said the scope of work includes engineering and technical services, programme management and worldwide field service representative support. These services are intended to improve operational reliability and sustainment.
The contract establishes a long-term framework vehicle, with work authorised incrementally through individual tasking over the five-year period. This structure allows the U.S. Army to assign work as requirements arise.
“The Army recognizes the need to continue sustaining proven ground combat vehicles that are critical for defending the United States,” said Ian Pain, chief executive officer of RENK America. “RENK America’s team, including our strong cadre of Veterans, have decades of experience to help the Army keep these vehicles available and reliable. We are proud to stand ready for our warfighters whenever and wherever needed.”
RENK America has long supplied advanced transmission, engine and powerpack solutions to the U.S. Department of War and allied forces. The company operates with a U.S.-based manufacturing and support footprint.
Its parent company, RENK Group AG, is headquartered in Augsburg, Germany and supplies propulsion solutions for military and civil markets. The group generated revenue of EUR 1.14 billion in 2024 and has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since February 2024.
