ReOrbit and Ananth Technologies sign MoU on GEO communications satellites

ReOrbit, a Finnish space technology company, and Ananth Technologies, an Indian aerospace and defence manufacturer, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on geostationary (GEO) communications satellites. The agreement focuses on exploring opportunities to enhance satellite development and deployment capabilities.

 

The MoU outlines potential areas of cooperation, including the integration of ReOrbit’s software-enabled satellite technology into Ananth Technologies’ systems. Additionally, the collaboration aims to leverage Ananth Technologies’ manufacturing and Assembly, Integration, and Testing (AIT) facilities to support future satellite projects.

Both companies highlighted the importance of the partnership in advancing satellite communications technology. Sethu Saveda Suvanam, CEO of ReOrbit, stated that the agreement reflects a commitment to innovation and excellence in the industry. Dr. Subba Rao Pavuluri, Chairman and Managing Director of Ananth Technologies, emphasised the opportunities this collaboration provides for both parties.

Ananth Technologies, with extensive expertise in manufacturing and integration, has a significant role in India’s space sector.
