The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) has concluded its participation in the International Paris Air Show 2025, held over seven days at Le Bourget Airport in Paris. The event attracted broad international attention from officials, experts, and specialists across the aviation and defence sectors.

GAMI took part to present the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s progress in military industries and to reinforce its presence at key global exhibitions. The participation supports efforts to deepen international cooperation, exchange expertise, and advance technology transfer, while also enabling national talent.

“This contributes to enhancing international relations in this field, as well as facilitating the exchange of expertise, transfer of technologies, and enablement of national talent,” said GAMI in a statement. The initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to achieve self-sufficiency in defence manufacturing and position itself as a regional and global hub.

During the exhibition, GAMI Governor His Excellency Eng. Ahmad bin Abdulaziz Al-Ohali held a series of bilateral meetings with senior figures in the military, aviation, and security sectors. Discussions focused on partnerships, knowledge exchange, and the localisation of advanced defence technologies.

GAMI’s presence drew strong interest from international delegations and visitors with an interest in military industries. Presentations highlighted the Kingdom’s investment landscape, regulatory frameworks, and incentives available to both domestic and foreign investors.

The participation also underscored achievements made under Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to localise over 50% of military expenditure and develop a robust industrial base. The show served as a platform to boost global partnerships, support national companies, and enhance their competitiveness in the international defence market.
