Stephanie Willmann appointed as Northrop Grumman’s first Country Executive for Germany

Northrop Grumman Corporation has appointed Stephanie Willmann as its first country executive for Germany. In this new role, she will lead the company’s expanded engagement with the Bundeswehr, focusing on delivering advanced defence capabilities and fostering local industry partnerships.

 

“Northrop Grumman has a longstanding strategic commitment to Germany, working with the German government and local partners to devise and deliver advanced technology that ensures NATO defense forces stay ahead of emerging threats,” said Stephen O’Bryan, corporate vice president and chief global business development officer. “Stephanie brings extensive industry and regional aerospace and defense expertise to the team.”

Before joining Northrop Grumman, Willmann held the position of Country Director for Germany at Rolls-Royce and previously served in several customer-facing leadership roles at Rheinmetall. She holds a bachelor’s and a doctorate in International Relations from the University of Cologne, along with a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University.

 

 

Her background includes lecturing at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, a fellowship at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government, and chairing the Committee on International and European Affairs of the German Defense Industry Association (BDSV). She also served at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, the Kosovo Force, and the Bundeswehr Transformation Center’s Department for Strategic Foresight.
