Poland has chosen the Swedish government’s offer of Saab’s A26 submarines to replace its current Kilo-class ship, marking a significant step in its naval modernisation plans. Saab stated that no contract has yet been signed and no order has been received.

The Swedish proposal features advanced A26 submarines equipped with recent innovations and technologies. It also includes cooperation with Polish industry and knowledge transfer intended to establish a long-term strategic partnership between both countries.
