Swedish defence company Saab has signed a contract with Dutch shipbuilder Damen Naval to supply the combat system for the Colombian Navy’s new Plataforma Estratégica de Superficie (PES) frigate. The agreement includes advanced radar, sensor, and fire control systems, reinforcing Saab’s presence in international naval defence.

Saab has signed a contract with Dutch shipbuilder Damen Naval to supply the combat system for the Colombian Navy’s new Plataforma Estratégica de Superficie (PES) frigate.

Saab Deutschland is currently equipping the four Brandenburg-class (F123) frigates with the advanced Command and Weapon Control System (9LV), which will be further developed.
