German defence firm Rheinmetall has opened a new U.S. hub in Fairfax County, Virginia, consolidating operations of two of its American subsidiaries at 2600 Park Tower Drive in Merrifield. The nearly 10,000-square-foot space will host American Rheinmetall Defense, Inc. and American Rheinmetall Munitions, Inc., placing them closer to the U.S. Department of Defense and key government stakeholders.
