The U.S. Army has retired its two longest-serving aerial intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) platforms, GUARDRAIL and Airborne Reconnaissance Low (ARL), during commemorative events held on 30-31 July 2025. The 501st Military Intelligence Brigade-Theater (MIB-T) marked the occasion with Operation PACIFIC SUNSET at Desidario Army Airfield, featuring final flights, exhibition displays and a dedication by the Republic of Korea Army.
